A Place to Understand Yourself and Move Forward

Life can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you don't fully understand. Anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, family dynamics, parenting, and the demands of everyday life can all affect how you feel and how you move through the world.

I provide compassionate, practical mental health counseling for adults navigating these challenges. My approach is collaborative and individualized, combining evidence-based treatment with clear guidance and a focus on meaningful progress.

Therapy is a place to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, process what has happened, and better understand what is within your control. Together, we’ll work toward greater emotional regulation, stronger resilience, healthier relationships, and a more grounded sense of yourself.

You don't have to stay stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.

EMDR & FLASH Therapy

Trauma-Focused Approaches for Healing and Moving Forward

Sometimes understanding what happened isn’t enough to change how an experience continues to affect you. Trauma can remain connected to emotions, beliefs, body sensations, and reactions long after the original experience has passed. EMDR and FLASH are two approaches I use to help clients process distressing experiences and reduce the impact they continue to have in the present.

Retreats are Extended sessions designed by you and your therapist. Insurance does not cover retreats and are self pay.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based trauma treatment that can help the brain process experiences that feel unresolved or continue to trigger strong emotional or physical reactions.

EMDR does not require you to repeatedly tell every detail of a traumatic experience. Instead, therapy focuses on helping you safely access and reprocess memories, beliefs, emotions, and body sensations that may still feel “stuck.”

EMDR can be helpful for trauma and PTSD, as well as anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, and other experiences that continue to affect how you see yourself or respond to situations in the present.

FLASH

FLASH Technique is a brief, trauma-focused intervention designed to reduce the emotional intensity associated with distressing memories or experiences. It can be particularly useful when talking extensively about a difficult experience feels overwhelming or when a client wants a more contained approach to beginning trauma work.

FLASH may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan or used alongside EMDR and other therapeutic approaches, depending on your needs, goals, and readiness.

A Personalized Approach to Trauma Treatment

There is no single way to heal from trauma. Some clients benefit from more traditional talk therapy, while others find that trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR or FLASH help them make progress that feels difficult to achieve through talking alone.

I will work collaboratively with you to determine which approach is appropriate and at what pace. Trauma treatment should feel purposeful and manageable—not like you are being asked to relive your experiences before you are ready.

The goal is not simply to revisit the past. It is to help you feel less controlled by it.

Clinical Consultation & Supervision

Trauma-Informed Consultation for Mental Health Professionals

I offer consultation for mental health professionals who work with clients who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and complex family or relationship dynamics.

Clinical work in these areas can present challenging situations that benefit from thoughtful discussion and another perspective. Consultation provides an opportunity to step back from a case, explore clinical considerations, strengthen treatment planning, and develop practical approaches for supporting clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries and ethical standards.

Individual Consultation

One-on-one consultation is tailored to your specific clinical questions and needs. Sessions may focus on case conceptualization, treatment planning, trauma responses, therapeutic dynamics, boundaries, or navigating challenging clinical situations.

Consultation may be helpful when you are:

  • Working with clients who have experienced trauma or domestic violence

  • Supporting survivors of narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships

  • Navigating complex family or relationship dynamics

  • Considering how trauma may be affecting a client's current functioning

  • Developing or adjusting a treatment approach

  • Working through a challenging clinical situation or therapeutic dynamic

  • Looking for another clinical perspective on a case

  • Seeking to strengthen clinical confidence and decision-making

Supervision

I offer supervision for clinicians seeking to develop their clinical skills, strengthen their clinical reasoning, and build confidence in their work with clients.

My supervision approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and direct. We will consider the individual needs of the client while also examining treatment planning, ethical considerations, therapeutic boundaries, documentation, and the clinician's own responses within the therapeutic relationship.

My clinical training includes EMDR, FLASH, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (Level II), and Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician credentials. These areas of training may inform consultation and supervision when relevant to the work being discussed.

A Space to Think Through the Work

Consultation and supervision provide a space to ask questions, consider different perspectives, and think more intentionally about the work you are doing. My goal is to support clinicians in providing thoughtful, ethical, trauma-informed care while continuing to develop their own clinical judgment and professional identity.

You don't have to navigate complex clinical work alone. Sometimes another perspective can help you see the case more clearly.

About the Practice

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding yourself—your experiences, your patterns, your relationships, and the ways you have learned to navigate the world.

Therapy can be a place to make sense of what feels difficult, develop greater awareness of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and learn practical ways to respond differently. Our work may include processing trauma, improving emotional regulation, navigating relationship and family dynamics, strengthening boundaries, and identifying what is within your control.

I believe effective therapy should be both compassionate and practical. You deserve a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing while also receiving thoughtful guidance to help you move forward.

My goal is not to tell you who to be or how to live your life. It is to help you better understand yourself, make intentional choices, and build a life that feels more stable, authentic, and fulfilling.

Understand yourself. Strengthen your boundaries. Move forward with intention.
