About Stephanie
I’m Stephanie Taylor, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. My clinical work focuses on anxiety, trauma, mood concerns, and complex family and relationship dynamics, including co-parenting challenges.
I especially enjoy working with women and mothers who may feel overwhelmed by the demands of relationships, family, work, and caregiving while trying to maintain a sense of who they are. Therapy can provide space to understand the patterns that keep you stuck, process what you’ve experienced, and develop a clearer and more grounded way forward.
My approach is practical, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about what is wrong—it should help you understand yourself, identify what is within your control, and make meaningful changes in the areas that matter most to you. I integrate evidence-based approaches and draw from multiple therapeutic modalities based on your needs and goals.
I am trained in EMDR and FLASH and hold advanced credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (Level II) and Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. I have experience working with both acute concerns and more complex, long-term presentations, including the effects of trauma and difficult relationship dynamics.
Our work together will balance compassion with honest reflection, practical guidance, and measurable progress. My goal is to help you build emotional regulation, process difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, and develop a more stable and fulfilling sense of self.
I work best with individuals who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, take ownership of what is within their control, and move toward meaningful change.
